Lounge

The Center's Lounge is a great place to relax, hang out with friends, practice English, and meet people from around the world. The Lounge is open to all members from 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM Monday through Thursday, 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM on Friday, and from 9:30 AM - 3:30 PM on Saturday.

In the Lounge, you can enjoy lunch and a cup of coffee from our Coffee Shop or get tickets from our Theater Desk. The Lounge also features art from around the world and is the place where the Center hosts many of its social and cultural events.

Theater Desk
The Theater Desk offers members and volunteers discount tickets for theater and dance performances, music concerts, and other special events in New York City.

Coffee Shop
The Coffee Shop is located in the Center's Lounge and sells food and drinks to members and volunteers.

"When we had no class to take, we sat in the Lounge which was our favorite place in the Center. Many volunteers helped us there. Almost all tables had at least one native English speaker sitting and waiting for members to join. The Lounge is the best place I can meet with members from all over the world, and exchange international culture while enjoying funny conversation.”
