Interesting Classes & Workshops The Center offers over 45 discussion and lecture classes each week on topics such as grammar, pronunciation, U.S. History, American Life and much more! If you choose to enroll in our structured courses, you will improve your Communication Skills and learn more about topics ranging from Civics Education to English for Business. You can also attend workshops to learn the skills you need to succeed in New York City.

New York's Largest One-to-One ESOL Partnership Program The International Center's One-to-One ESOL Partnership Program offers you the opportunity to improve your English through private tutoring sessions with trained American volunteers. We offer 4 different types of partnerships:     - Conversation     - Writing     - Career Skills     - Pronunciation

Fun Activities At the International Center, you can attend our social and cultural events to experience other cultures and meet new friends. You can also sign up to go on trips and tours throughout the New York area.

Great People At the International Center you will meet people from around the world. Every year, the Center welcomes members from over 80 counties who improve their English with the help of 1,000 American volunteers. We welcome you to relax with friends in the Center's Lounge or enjoy lunch and a cup of coffee from our Coffee Shop.

Helpful Resources The International Center has all the resources you need to improve your English. You can use our computer lab to learn about programs like Microsoft Word and Excel or visit our library to check out ESOL books and English-language audio cassettes and DVD's.
